There is a myth and I have heard many people talking about that, there is nothing much to see in Bangalore except the shopping malls. This is not true at all. Bangalore has so many places to explore in it or very nearby and one cannot complete visiting all the places even in 3 to 4 days.
Here is my list of few of such places.
I have visited almost all these places and will cover the ones which I am yet to
visit.
Bannerghatta Zoo & Safari

Let me start with my favorite, Bannerghatta Zoo and Safari.
Though the zoo is small, however the safari is something you should experience
there. In the zoo there few animals including tiger, crocodiles, emu
and some other birds. But the main attraction is the safari. It went through
different animal’s territory starts with dear, bison, elephant, bear, lion and
at the end tiger. You can see the animals very closed to your vehicle and they
are openly roaming around on the road. In the zoo there is one butterfly park
which is also very good. There is ample parking place in the zoo.
Wonderla
Distance from Majestic: 28.5 km
Another great attraction in Bangalore. It is
an amusement park with lots of activity and watermark. You can enjoy a full day
there and will not feel to return from there. You can book the ticket online or
in the park itself. There is a resort also and you can stay there if you want
by prior booking. Lots of parking place available there.
Innovative Film City

Innovative film city is one of the
popular attractions in Bangalore. You can spend a whole day or half there. They
have package for both. It has watermark and many other activities. You may get
a chance to see Bigg Boss Kannada shooting.
Iscon Temple
Distance from Majestic: 6.2 km
The very beautiful Krisha Temple
located in Rajajinagar is a must visit place if you are in Bangalore. There is
timing to visit the temple, so please check the latest timing before visit the
place.
Lalbagh Botanical Garden
Distance from Majestic: 6.5 km
Lalbagh Botanical Garden is a very
famous place in Bangalore and everyday, specially on the weekend lot many
people visit the place. It is spread across several acres and having plenty of
trees and plants. Every year there are flower shows during 15th
August and 26 January and it is always very crowded both the time.
Cubbon Park
Distance from Majestic: 3.1 km
The most famous and biggest park in
Bangalore in Cubbon Park. It is located at the center of the city. The place
with busy since morning till evening. People got there for running, walking,
relaxation, picnic etc. Sometime parking it bit challenge there, however you
will get a place after searching for some time.
Bangalore Palace
Distance from Majestic: 5.2 km
A small but wonderful palace. Many
movies shooting has happened here including Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Rowdy
Rathod and many more. While inside the palace you can book the audio guide
which helps you to know about the palace in details. There is parking area in
front of the palace.
Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace
Distance from Majestic: 5.9 km
This is a very small palace of Tipu
Sultan. The architecture of the palace is bit different and looks very attractive. There is parking place opposite side
of the palace.
Bull Temple

One of the biggest Nandi Temple and a
must visit for any pilgrims. It is been told that the size of the Nandi is
getting increased every years.
Pyramid Valley

Pyramid Valley is located in Kanakapura
Road. A great place for meditation or even for a day out. It has a big pyramid
structure in the center of the area where anyone can go and do the meditation.
The area surrounding the Pyramid is also very good and the park inside is very
beautiful.
The Art of Living

Located in Kanakapura Road, The Art of
Living is Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s Ashram is very famous place. You may be lucky
to meet Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in the evening.
MG Road and Brigade Road
Distance from Majestic: 6.8 km

The most happening place in Bangalore. It is
full of shops, restaurant, Bar. This is the destination for many specially
in the weekend.
Ulsoor Lake

A very beautiful lake and park and lots
of people gather here in the evening. There is boating also available in the
lake.
Lumbini Garden

Another famous lake and park. It has good kids play area as well. It has boating. This is very crowded in the weekend.
HAL Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum

You can see the history of HAL in this
museum. There are several flights and helicopter which manufactured by HAL. A
very good place to visit when you are Bangalore.
Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum

A small but great museum. A must visit
place for the kids. It is nicely maintained and have several activities for
school goers.
Vidhana Soudha

You should not miss the glimpse of Vidhan Soudha
when you are in Bangalore. A very beautiful architecture and lost of tourist
comes daily to see this.
Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park

The fountain water show in the park is of the
best. You must visit this place in the evening.
Shivoham Shiva Temple

Located in Old Airport Road, one of the best
Shiv Temple in Bangalore. The Shiva idol is very beautiful. Everyday lot many tourists
and pilgrims visit this place.
Shopping Malls
Last but not the least. Bangalore is mall
city and it has plenty of excellent mall, some are great for shopping, some are
great for food and some are great to spend the time with family and Friend. Phoenix
Mall, Orion Mall, Mantri Mall, Garuda Mall, Koramangala Forum Mall, VR Mall,
Forum Shantiniketan, Inobit Mall and many more are some beautiful mall
Bangalore has.
